K-/G-Lined
What is K-/G-Lined?
The term "K-Line" is an acronym for "Kill Line" which means that if the server sets a K:Line against someone's IP/hostname
they will not be able to connect to the server, and if they do, they will be disconnected instantly. This is called a KILL on IRC.
A "G-Line" is a global K-Line and therefore active on every server of the IRC network.
Why does one get K-/G-Lined?
Mostly this happens because an open proxy has been detected for your IP. Because this poses a security risk, you are not allowed on the network.
Generally you could say that if you get a K- or G-Line, you have not followed our rules.
