VHost Policy

A VHost is a virtual host used for masking your proper IP or hostname.

The ZeroFuzion Network is giving users the opportunity to use a free VHOST while you are on our network. If you are interested, please apply by typing /msg HostServ REQUEST your.host.here or you can join #help and any one of our Network Staff can help you.

Once your application has been received, provided your nick has been registered one of our Hostserv staff members will activate or decline your selected vhost. You will receive a memo advising you of acceptance or denial of your request.

Vhosts will not be accepted where it is deemed as either a threat to the network, in poor taste, profane, *.gov, resolving hosts or contain Zerofuzion as any part of it.

How does this work? Well, if you have a VHost set to your nickname, every time you identify to NickServ under the nickname your IP/Host will change to the VHost and users will not be able to see your proper IP/host.
